Hasselback Cheesy Bread

Ingredients:

– 1 large French bread loaf

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1 teaspoon dried thyme

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

– 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Slice the French bread loaf crosswise into 1/2-inch intervals, making sure not to cut all the way through.

3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

4. Using a brush, generously coat the bread with the butter and herb mixture, making sure to get into the cuts.

5. Fill each cut with a mixture of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil, leaving the top exposed.

7. Bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown.

8. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve warm.
