Baked Lump Crab Cakes

Ingredients:

– 1 pound lump crab meat, picked over for shells

– 1/4 cup mayonnaise

– 1 large egg

– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper

– 2 green onions, finely chopped

– 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 cup breadcrumbs

– Cooking spray

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine lump crab meat, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, red bell pepper, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix gently until well combined.

3. Add breadcrumbs to the crab mixture and fold until the mixture holds together.

4. Form the mixture into equal-sized crab cakes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. Lightly spray the crab cakes with cooking spray.

6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crab cakes are golden brown and cooked through.

7. Serve the crab cakes with your favorite dipping sauce.
